    Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Anti-Cargo Shorts These are your go-to shorts for your better summer events. Old-school and absent irony or gimmicks and with a nice drape. Plenty of room to get out of an Adirondack chair without embarrassment, pinching or binding. The "holes" at the top of the pockets are there for a reason, to provide give for the elastic sides. Not to worry, the "holes" are bound at the edges and are at the top of the pocket to prevent loose change from falling out. If anything, they provide a little venting. The subtle crease in the front is quite nice and only slightly noticeable. If your shorts are a little crumpled the crease is a nice thing to help counter that. Maybe you don't do yard work in these shorts. Or barbecue, unless you wear a chef's apron. One other thing: Show these shorts off to their best advantage and tuck your shirt in when your at that summer event. You're not a kid anymore!

The button is too large for the hole and/or the hole is too small, making it very difficult to unbutton. I suspect the elastic in the waste is a factor, working against efforts to unbutton. The problem described will also hasten failure of the thread. I came close to returning but my wife and I like the fit and appearance so much that she offered to replace the button with a slightly smaller one.

I measure 38in waist, but by advise from another review ordered a 37in waist. The all over fit is perfect for my body. Trim lines, no baggy leg or rear. The fabric and fit gives the short a dressier look, although I will wear them golfing too. LLBean is the best source for 6 in inseam shorts.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Quality, Comfort, & Price I have been looking for comfortable high quality shorts that don't go below my knees which is hard to find these days. I am neither short or tall (5'11") and have a hard time finding shorts that don't go below my kness. These are the perfect length at 8" and they offer 6" shorts for those with even shorter legs. The other great thing about these shorts are the comfort waste band offered with this product. I am in between sizes so if I order my normal size they are a little tight and if I order the next size up they are way too big. The comfort waste design makes them fit perfectly and very comfortably without showing. I would also recommend the comfort waste design to anyone who would be doing alot of bending or moving like hiking or even playng a round of golf. The deep pockets are also a very nice addition. I know this product is new but I hope you keep making these shorts for a long time because once others try them I know they will like them as much as I do. I will be ordering more. Great job!

    Rated 4 out of 5 by from Double L Chino shorts, 8" inseam I have been buying the Chino shorts (and long pants also) for a long time, 10 years plus. The comfort and fit are great. As the shorts and pants get older, the material frays on the bottom edge, which is to be expected, However, it seems, that in recent years (last 2 or 3), the fraying is coming sooner.

I purchased a pair of these shorts for my 36 year old son a year ago and he asked for additional pairs for his birthday, saying that these were by far the most comfortable shorts he had ever worn. And with the wrinkle-free fabric, they look neat, too!

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from GREAT SHORTS These are great shorts. So good, I have ordered 4 pair. Wish they would make more colors so I could order more. The comfort waste feels very good. The 8" inseam is perfect for us shorter guys (I refuse to wear shorts that hang below the knee). They come out of the wash ready to wear, no ironing required.
