280-Thread-Count Pima Cotton Percale Comforter Cover Collection is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 144.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Is it percale? The duvet cover appears to be well sewn of good quality, durable fabric. I don't have a way to see the weave structure in detail. I am told that percales are often woven with warp and weft threads of different weights which yield differing feels, looks and textures. Rather than the cool feel, crisp look and texture of a single thread weight traditional percale, this fabric presents the soft and smooth sheen of a sateen. So the assembled duvet and cover tends to migrate toward and off the foot of the bed during the night - not what I was hoping for. It is more than OK and I will continue to use it. But when the time comes, I will not replace this in kind.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect duvet cover This is, by far, the nicest comforter/duvet cover I've ever seen. It is exactly how a duvet cover should be. The thread count is fine as it is extremely soft and has that feel of coolness next to my skin. It has 4 ties inside for tying on the duvet loops. The best part, though, is that it has (12) buttons on the end that are medium size, tightly stitched and perfect size. You simply turn it inside out, tie the 4 ties, pull it down over duvet and then button up. I searched the internet for a whole day just trying to find a duvet cover with buttons and apparently it's very rare, or only 2 or 3 buttons are offered. This is top of the line in my book. It is what I consider a European duvet cover. Thank you for a great product!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Wouldn't stay in place The color choices were limited. When I received the duvet cover it was so soft and very comfortable. It wasn't that bad putting my down comforter in it and securing it at the corners. I woke up the next morning and it was very frustrating to find that the comforter slipped down from the inside of the duvet cover making it hard to pull it back up and fluff the comforter. This became a new morning ritual that my on-the-go lifestyle won't allow. I finally had to take it off and frustrated that it didn't work out for me. Maybe in the future, a solution to this duvet cover problem will be available.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what we were looking for This is a fantastic comforter cover, we are very pleased. The cover has the texture, weight, tight weave and crisp, soft feel of a quality percale sheet. There are little ties on the inside corners which help hold the comforter in place, the solid buttons and button closures are "hidden", making for a nice finished look and the "pale orchid" flower design is nothing short of gorgeous. The cover makes our bed look classy, our room cheery and makes us happy, plus it is like sleeping in a mountain wildflower meadow. The colors are not quite as vivid as the online picture, but are still vibrant and the overall look is elegant. Overall this is an excellent quality comforter cover, one we look forward to using for years to come.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LL Bean Quality really makes a difference One of the best, most rewarding purchases Ive ever made was buying down comforters from LL Bean. Over the many years we have used them, they have never leaked a single bit of down and have always kept their loft and just right feeling of warmth. At the time of their original purchase, I also purchased LL Bean's Comforter covers to go with them. The comforter covers are of equal quality to the comforters them selves and fit perfectly. I purchased this comforter cover to match some new sheets we recently purchased. Happy to say this new comforter cover is made with the very same high quality as our older ones.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from not the usual quality For some reason this sheet material feels lighter, less substantial, less soft and overall of lesser quality than all other 280 thread count cotton percale bedding I have obtained from LL Bean. I loved my other sheets so much, I ordered this to mix up the pattern with the stripes and solids, loving how they all coordinate. I am happy with the appearance, but less so with the feel of the material. Not as soft and "peachy." Can't understand why if it is the same material, weight/quantity woven in the same way. Change of vendor? I hope all the other bedding stays the same...it has held up remarkably well even with working dogs on the bed and VERY frequent washings...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lovely cover! I really like this cover. It was a little bit scratchy to the face (not hands/body) at first, but after washing it once it has improved a lot and I expect it will continue to do so with further use. The pattern is cheerful and a pretty color without being to bright or loud or dated (I have the antique pine floral print). The fabric is a nice weave that feels like good quality, and the ties are sewed in firmly. I also find that my comforter is not sliding down or bunching up inside; the cover and comforter stay together pretty well. Thanks for a quality product once again!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Beautiful, but not enough ties I am admitting that I am writing this review while close to being in a rage. I should not be this frustrated trying to make a bed!!! I actually had to stop, to go get my sewing kit and some ribbon so that I can create extra ties on the top of the comforter and inside the cover. After spending over $500 for a comforter and the cover, I shouldn't have to be doing this! If I didn't like the pattern and color so much, they would be going back. There should be either more ties, or even buttons along the top to attach the comforter and cover to each other so I don't have a mess.
