It's shiny on the outside and has a fleecy surface on a minority of the interior exposed surfaces, but this is a thin cloth, no heft, and hard to believe it could be warm. The pocket materials take up too much of the inside surface. It's not more than a superficial shell littered with seams and pockets. The arms are out of line with standard sizing. I ordered a medium, but the arms are too tight and length is for extra tall.

        Rated 5 out of 5 by from My favorite jacket This replaces the same older (10 yrs. plus) hoodie from LL Bean. This is my go to outerwear. I prefer a hoodie for extra warmth around the head, especially if there is wind. If it gets too cold I do layering and wear a vest underneath the hoodie.

After much searching I found this, which perfectly filled the bill. From the hood to the fleece lining to zip pockets it’s just right. A well-designed quality product at a fair price.
