Today, our signature duck boots are still sewn right here in Maine by expert craftspeople whose technical skills and passion for their work is evident in every pair of boots they make. Warm, dry feet haven’t gone out of style in a hundred years, so we haven’t needed to change L.L.’s innovative design.

    • Sherpa fleece lining for lightweight warmth and super-soft comfort.
    • A uniquely shaped foot form offers comfort and stability, and a steel shank adds support.
    • Footbed is lined with PrimaLoft® Insulation for reliable warmth in the worst weather.
    • A steel shank and our original rubber chain-tread bottom for support and traction.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love my new Bean Boots I feel like a champion for getting these on sale! I typically wear a 7.5 and ordered the 6 (as this size has worked in the past) and they fit like they were made for my foot. I ordered the green as that was the style that was on sale and wasn't 100% sold on the color until they arrived - at which point I fell in love with the green - sooo cute! And the shade of green is amazing - more on the neutral side of green and seems to go with so many things in my closet. With these boots. . . I'm so excited for winter (and I hate winter!)!! These boots are perfect. I love how they feel on my feet. I think maybe I found the perfect boots!! LOVE them so much!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Warmth is great, but disappointed in quality I have worn these boots almost every day for six weeks, mostly for taking the kids for walks and shoveling. The warmth is great, they’re comfortable to walk in, and don’t feel super bulky like other snow boots. I am disappointed in the quality, as there’s four spots where stitches are already coming undone and it looks like the rubber bottom is coming apart from the leather upper already (see photos). I’ve had a pair of bean boot mocs for almost fifteen years and I don’t have any issues like this with those. Not sure if I got a lemon or if the quality has just gone down.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sizing is essential to avoid accidents End of last year I bought the boots in a size 9 my normal boot size for my 8.5 shoe size. HUGE mistake! Despite wearing double thick socks, the boots must have been loose enough, possibly contributing to my fracturing my femur! Having surgery, long recovery was not fun so I'd suggest choose wisely. In November I bought a size 8 of the boot. Since I bought cleats to put on my boots for certain activities I bought a third pair in December. It's a hassle to put on, remove the cleats so I dealt with the added expense. I have Raynaud's so the lining keeps my feet warm too.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from strange fit I just received a pair of Bean Sherpa lined size 7b boots. If I did not wear socks - maybe they would fit. However in the winter - I need to wear wool socks. The length is "ok" - without socks, and width is tight - without socks. They will be returned. Having had unlined bean boots some years ago - I wanted to get lined ones as the unlined ones are very cold in the winter. Perhaps it is the lining that makes the boot feel tight The insert arch support makes the boot feel very tight - but without it there is no arch support.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm, comfortable boots Purchased these to wear in wet/cooler temps as my Sperry’s were not holding up as they should. Wore them walking/hiking in rainy and snowy Vermont without any pain or need to break them in. Have been wearing them in the rain in NYC. Will see how they hold up over time (I do a lot of walking with my dog), but so far they are incredibly comfortable, waterproof, and warm (comfortable in temps as low as 20 and as high as 50). Only complaint is that the laces are coated with something that makes them incredibly stiff and difficult to tie/remain tied. Nothing a double knot can’t help!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable, versatile, perfect fit #1, I am not a boot person, so I opted for these 6" boots over the 8" ones, and I LOVE THEM! They are not bulky or cumbersome at all, yet they are warm and protective enough to shovel snow or run errands in the Montana cold and snow. The fuzzy lining gives a little extra warmth and comfort without being 'clunky'. I buy all my shoes in a 9 1/2, but the size 9 in these boots is perfect.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Functional but not worth the extra $$ I’ll start off with saying the fit of these boots is perfect I normally wear a size 8.5 and ordered a 7 like the guide said and they fit great. My issue is the color I ordered the dark brown and they are so close to black you can’t tell they are supposed to be brown at all not the clear two toned style pictured. They fit nice so I won’t go through the trouble of sending them back but if I had known they would look almost entirely black I wouldn’t have splurged the extra 20+ dollars and would have gone with the tan or the green.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Boots Ever! These boots arrived just in time for our snowy and cold January. They are perfect in every way. They are warm and sturdy and have a good sole. I like the lace up boot because it provides ankle support. On top of it this classic Bean boot is super fashionable. My dog Lucky and I have already walked miles in these. There is a reason these boots are a classic!
