Rated 1 out of 5 by from Nice looking BUT terrible fit Really wanted to like these, but I totally agree with the other review that said there is no ankle support. I have very normal feet, never had any issues whatsoever fitting into any shoe like this, but after trying all different sizes they all have same problem. No ankle support. I studied this shoe very thoroughly to understand why it fails, and determined that the heel section of shoe just balloons outward a little bit more than other similar shoes, which leaves an unsupportive gap back there. No good. Tried all different sizes. Same exact problem. Even much smaller sizes do not help, bc the toebox is awfully narrow as well. Disappointed because I like the way they look.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Comfortable, the proof is in the miles! I’m so happy I purchased these shoes. I walk 4-5 miles a day around town and local trails and had been trying to find comfortable winter shoes for several years. When I tried these on in the store I just about didn’t buy them as the fit around the toes was very snug but I was desperate and decided to give them a try, I’m so happy I did. I have now walked in these about 110 days out of the last 120 days. I wear medium wool rag socks and these are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. My feet have stayed warm and dry and I really do look forward to pulling these shoes on in the morning. The only negative I have with them is the rubber on the front of the left toe area started to separate, but I still really like this shoe and will buy again. The proof is in the miles!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great fit with minor cosmetic issue Very comfortable with great fit. Good looking shoes with the exception of wrinkled fabric on the toe area of one shoe. Shoes appear to be well made, except for the fabric cosmetic issue. I liked the shoes comfort so I bought a second pair. Again, some wrinkled fabric on one shoe, I think it must be a stitching problem. The issues were the same on both shoes. If you don’t mind the cosmetic issue these are a good value. Great fit and comfortable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Shoe for Disk Golf Terrain Selected these for the rough terrain often encountered playing on disk golf links. One of the first pieces of equipment new players discover they must buy to participate in disk golf is a light-weight waterproof athletic shoe. There is often grass and brush that is wet with morning dew and/or recent rain, plus little creeks to hop over as you walk the various links as you play. KEEN is very popular with the younger folks. But I wanted to try these LL Bean shoes and they work just fine for me. LL Bean should expand their presence more in that sport. It's an opportunity market.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor Inner Sole Construction I really wanted to like these, however, the sole camber is tilted excessively toward the outer edge and affected my ability to walk normally.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Wouldn't recommend these Definitely waterproof but lacking side support and stability. My foot moves all over when I try to walk with these on. Guess I'll just use these for wet wading.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fit and Comfort I alwyas hesitate to write a review soon after product arrival as it does not give ample time to see how product wears. However, I can say that these shoes are extremely confortable with ample room in the toe box. I have worn them once for yard work in wet grass and they are indeed waterproof. They are also remarkably light weight and I do hope they hold up over time. The size is spot on too. So far...impressive,
