        Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to layer, a great spring jacket! Because of the price I was hesitant to order this jacket. Then I saw a photo that another customer provided. So many jackets with hoods have those stand up collars, this one lays fairly flat. You would never know unless you saw it on a real person, hence picture is provided. There is a long sleeve tee shirt and cardigan on under the jacket, still enough room to be comfortable. It was fine with just a short sleeve shirt too. Lots of zip pockets to carry the ever present cell phone and keys. The sleeves are a bit long, but a good trade off as the back is long enough to cover your backside. A score of 100% in a New England spring shower. 80% on wind, but it is light weight. Easy to pack and love the color. It nice to buy something and be truly delighted with it!

Now for the jacket... it’s very comfortable and fits well, but it’s not waterproof. My jacket may be the exception.. but if I’m outside for over 2 minutes in the rain, I’ll get soaked. I love the style and fit, but I wish it repelled water better.

        Rated 4 out of 5 by from I Want To Love It... I ordered the light Cascade Blue color, which I love. And I like just about everything about this very top-of-the-line rain jacket. However, for the price, I think a front double-zipper could have been added. When I sit down, the bottom of the jacket is very tight around my waist and a double-zipper would help. I also wish there was a longer coat version, like the Meridian raincoat. We have a big storm coming in this week that's supposed to last 3 days. I'll hopefully have a good chance to try out my Cresta rain jacket.

        Rated 5 out of 5 by from Everything I expected Love this jacket! Love the stretch to it, fits well. Silver moon is a great color. Sleeves are on the longer side, which works for me. Zippered pockets are a must. The material of the coat has a nice feel to it and isn’t noisy. Definitely keeps me dry, doesn’t soaked through. I wished that there was a longer version, to keep my thighs dry too. Crossing my fingers....Maybe they will make it soon!

I have found that with the rain jackets regardless of the company that they lack this feature. Yes this jacket stretches a little but not enough when sitting and it is longer so more stress is on the zipper.

I really like this jacket - the fit is great - roomy enough for a sweater underneath and the cuffs have velcro so they can be tightened on the wrist to the desired fit. The "ice blue" color is lovely, cheerful even, when it seems I usually end up with navy or black by default.

Fit me perfectly, love the stretchiness and I'm thrilled the sleeves fit me perfectly! Plenty long enough! It's the perfect weight for hiking and my first trip with it was an overnight hike with camping on a beach in the Pacific Northwest. It easily kept the wet weather out and was light enough not to make me sweat while hiking. Honestly, I like it so much, I am considering buying a second one!

It's been raining here a bit on the east coast and it protects me from the rain well, while keeping me feeling dry in the humidity. I love the pocket sizes and the length of the jacket. LL Bean makes great petite sized clothing! I definitely recommend this jacket. :)
