    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome I'm pretty sure I ordered a tall, yup, I did. I'm wearing it now. Had to crane my neck a bit to read the tag. Look, I've only washed (and dried) it twice. I was afraid to dry it (even on low), so I took it out waaaay early the first time. The second time, I let it go until it was almost dry, Then I hung it in my closet with a damp collar and cuffs. If it's lost any size at all, it's been a benefit. I always order things a size up so as to accommodate for shrinking. This shirt seems really well built out of amazing material. I am really happy with it so far. See you in 6 months.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from So comfy I’m allergic to wool and I just was about to give up while trying on flannels in the LL Bean store in Nashua and this was the last one I had left to try on ... this cozy, organic cotton flannel. It is absolutely comfortable, soft and very warm (I wore this with temps in the 40s with a tee shirt underneath). I look forward to wearing it all Fall!! The fit is very good. I have gangly long arms for my height and these sleeves at least go to my wrist. Overall very happy with my purchase and I am online to purchase another!! Definitely good quality flannel!

I already have 2 of these and am about to order another. I love Bean's chamois shirts, but if you want something just a bit lighter and softer, this is the one for you.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very comfortable I received this shirt from my wife for Christmas. She decided to go with the slightly fitted large tall size and this decision was a first for me. As a tall slender build guy I really like the fit. The shirt is a little more tight in my upper body and this was a good thing. I have always preferred xl tall in my button shirts so a slightly fitted tall large made me a bit nervous. I’m pleasantly surprised by the fit and It will now be my go to size selection. I also love the heft of the material. Very soft and warm. Having washed and worn it a couple of times I think this shirt will be perfect for cold midwestern winter days. However if you want to maintain the size I would recommend not drying the garment very long to keep shrinking to a minimum.

    Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great shirt, not slightly fitted though My chest is 41 in which means that LL Bean excluded my chest size in their size charts. I requested a large tall (it was a gift) because that's the size shirt that fits me from most companies. This shirt must be designed for a very full torso and girth arms cause it's enormous and baggy in every direction. I feel mislead by the sizing chart and the "slightly fitted" description. I rarely wear the shirt because it's a tent on me which is too bad because it's very comfortable, warm and the material looks nice. I (nearly 40 years old) look like a kid wearing his dad's clothes in this thing. This shirt is cut so generous, I'll confidently order a medium tall next time.

    Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great material, but the sleeves were short I buy a cotton shirt from Bean's about once every 2 or 3 years. The last time in about 2018, the ItemID was 285286. This time (2021) the ItemID was 508923. The 2018 shirt fit perfectly. The 2021 shirt had sleeves that were a full 2 inches shorter, and the shortcoming was immediately obvious. The reason to search for a Large-Tall shirt is to get sleeves that are long enough, but these were not. The body of the shirt was also an inch shorter, but that is of no consequence. I did not even notice it until the sleeves prompted me to measure it. Otherwise, the fabric was wonderfully soft. I would recommend it in Regular sizes, but not in Tall.

He immediately declared them the best and most comfortable flannel shirts he's ever worn! I had also purchased two flannel shirts from another company which he did not care for. I returned them after Christmas in hopes of replacing them with two more of these organic L.L. Bean flannel shirts. Alas, only the navy blue and white one was still available in his size, XL. So now he is the proud owner of three very comfy flannel shirts but we would like to purchase more in order to recycle some of the many other flannel shirts he has. Please let us know when the stock is refreshed!

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Soft, comfortable and warm fitted flannel shirt Super soft and well made flannel shirt. This shirt fits well, and is meant to be more fitted. I am a 38 chest 5'7", and a small fit perfectly. The shirt did not shrink at all despite being cotton. Additionally, I bought a medium and realized later it was too big. I sent the shirt back to LL Bean and they exchanged it quickly, and the staff were helpful and friendly. I will be back to shop with them again.
