    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Can't say enough.... I have this item in three colors, only because I have not bought my fourth color yet. Seriously, I wear one of these quarter zips almost every day of the year. They are perfect with a T-shirt underneath on cool fall days here in western NC, perfect with a T-shirt and LL Bean short sleeve button-up in winter, perfect again with a T-shirt underneath all spring, and even good in the summer when someone cranks the A/C up a tad too far. They can be dressed up for work or dressed down for casual. I even sleep in them half the time. Thanks LL Bean - you knocked this one out of the park.

    Rated 4 out of 5 by from Really Nice Except I bought one of these a little over a year ago and then a second one a couple of months after that. When new, these shirts are extremely soft and comfortable. They provide a nice level of warmth. After a year has gone by, they are nowhere near as soft and comfortable. I have washed them on gentle and now think I should have hand washed them. (I air dried them) They remind me a bit of how polypropylene from the past would start off nice and then quickly pill and feels "plasticky". I was going to buy another one and go with the hand washing route but, darn, Bean is pretty much out of them. P.S. If you used to wear size L from Bean but have found yourself having to buy XLs, a size L in this shirt should work.

    Rated 2 out of 5 by from Runs Large and the Neck is Very Loose I really wanted to like this shirt and planed to use as a 2nd layer when skiing. I ordered an XL which is my normal size for an L.L. Bean shirt and this shirt ran very large. Additionally, as shown very accurately in the picture it was also very loose in the neck when fully zipped up. I thought I might get a better fit by going with a smaller size so I reordered an L. It was a much better fit through the arms, chest, and torso. However, it was still to loose for my taste around the neck. Returning both shirts.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Light and Breathable Insulation Layer This pullover is great for casual layering over a collared shirt or t shirt when you want a little extra warmth that is breathable. Also works great for cold weather layering when hiking, snowshoeing and skiing.

    Rated 2 out of 5 by from Zipper Off Center Smooth--check. Stretchy--check. Long enough--check. Warm enough for its intended purpose--check. But when I put it on and wore it around for a few minutes, I noticed that I was constantly having to adjust it because the zipper would creep off to my left. I took it off, laid it flat, and measured from the side seams. The bottom of the zipper was 13" from the right side and only 11" from the left! My wife independently confirmed the measurements. I'm going to exchange it and hope the next one is better. Minus 4 stars for quality, but plus 1 because it's otherwise awesome.

    Rated 2 out of 5 by from Perfectly fine pullover for two days I found the pullover to be everything I expected and enjoyed that, right up to the moment that the fabric began to pill. That feeling of enjoyment lasted for about two days, which frankly for the money spent should not happen at all, let alone after two days. No longer something that I can wear outside the home.
