    Why We Love Them
With over 4 million pairs sold over the last 5 years, it’s clear customers think our Wicked Good Slippers deserve the title of Best Slippers Ever Made. They make such a great gift that we sell a pair every 7 seconds during our peak in December. Why are they so popular? There are a few reasons but at the top of the list is the most cozy shearling you can find. Throw in superior construction using premium sheepskin and you’ll know why in Maine, “Wicked Good” is as good as it gets.
    • Genuine shearling lamb fur is dyed and treated.
    • Thermoplastic rubber outsole and cross-hatch grooved tread for improved traction.
    • Lined with genuine Australian lambswool.
    • Stitched-down shearling collar can't be turned up.
    • Velvet suede is water and stain resistant.
    • EVA foam lining midsole for comfort and extra cushioning.
    • Shearling-covered full foam insole.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect slippers! After two years of winter indoor-only use, all the fluff on my Wicked Good Moccasins rubbed off the heel. I think the manufacturer has changed in the past two years. Now the toe area is narrower and comes to more of a point. My toes felt very pinched after about 30 seconds. Fortunately, I found the Squam Lake model. These slippers are fantastic! The toe area is rounded so all my toes are comfortable, but the fit is still snuggly and warm. The blue color is so pretty. I'm not sure why they recommend sizing up. I usually wear a 9 1/2 and the 10 was enormous on me (in both the Squam Lake and Moc styles). The size 9 is great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfy and Flattering My aging feet require good arch support, and these slippers provide it! I typically wear a size 8.5M, sometimes an 8M depending on the style. Bought these in an 8M, and initially was concerned they were a bit too big as my heels were slipping up from the back. After a few days wear, though, the slippers molded to my feet as promised (sizing note: I always wear medium-weight socks with my slippers). The deep purple color I chose is beautiful, and the style is slender-looking without being too narrow for my mildly bunion-ed feet -- much more flattering than the clunky-looking orthopedic slippers I'd been wearing, and more comfy, too!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Buyer Beware - Major Design Flaw These slippers are a big disappointment. I ordered them on November 29, and I just received them yesterday, January 7. After such a long wait, I was excited to receive them and had high hopes. As soon as I put them on, I noticed there is a distinct difference in the design of the two shoes - specifically, the left shoe has a squared toe, and the right shoe has a rounded toe. I couldn't believe it! This sort of design flaw will drive me crazy to look at, and it is absolutely not the quality I expect from LL Bean. This is the sort of issue you would get with some cheap knock-off, not $80 slippers from LL Bean. This is totally unacceptable, and these will be going back.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great slippers I bought these for myself for Christmas. I usually wear a 7 to 7 1/2. I bought a size 7 and they fit perfect! They are the most comfortable slippers I have ever worn! Feels like walking on clouds! (I guess my so-called slippers I was wearing were really bad!) These slippers are soooo warm which is great for MN chilly nights. I don't have the problem with my heal flipping out as others had mentioned. Maybe my foot is a more true to size 7 1/2 so it fits better. I am used to wearing scuffs which do flop a little bit for me, but these do not. I received an LL Bean gift card for Christmas, so I am planning to buy another pair! Yea!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Bad tag, still love them First my pair ever, Christmas 2020 gift. Felt like wearing a cozy blanket on my feet. I have foot problems & these feel great. Only 2 issues. First, putting a very stiff & scratchy tag inside is a really bad idea. Was difficult to cut out - had to cut it down to the seam to stop feeling it & couldn’t prevent cutting some of the sheepskin out with it. Second, after only a month of wear there are spots where the sheepskin lining is already wearing thin. A little disappointing for the price. Podiatrist suggested getting 2nd pair and alternating each day. Will have to save money to do it, though, or hope for a sale.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Warm Tooties! Arrived at the perfect time! My family is recovering from the Kincaid fire evacuation in California. We are bless to have not lost our home, waiting now on utilities to be restored. The parcel was to be delivered, but held due to the disaster, arrived with just a little delay. My new slippers are so very warm and cozy, a comfort to have just now. I also have a Bean robe, very warm thank goodness as the weather is a bit cold (for us) these mornings. I wear size 8 1/2, bought the 9 originally which was too big, returned for size 8 and it's perfect.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Would be OK for sporadic use The quality of these were lacking. I wear house shoes every day and received this pair for Christmas. I was very excited for them and the first 1-2 months were great (warm, comfortable, great sole), so much so that I bought a pair for my mom, too. But by the time Quarantine hit in March, the padding/wool is completely bare in spots and the fur is split. Where the fur is run bare, the rubber sticks to my feet, even with socks, and spread to other areas of the fur. Knowing now that I have to replace them every 2-3 months, they are not worth the cost.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm & Fuzzy Excellent slippers, they are warm and fuzzy according to my wife. Got them in red for her so that she can find them. (She has a habit of losing shoes and slippers around the house after kicking them off under a table or chair.) Took the advise and ordered about 1/2 size smaller because an earlier review indicated that they might fit better and also my experience with leather is that leather stretches over time. That assessment appears to be right on the mark. My wife says they fit perfectly. Stitching is excellent and the slipper appears very durable. I have a similar men's pair myself and have been wearing mine for three years without any issues.
