Women's Scotch Plaid Flannel Shirt, Sherpa-Lined Zip Hoodie is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 1111.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not at all what I expected My husband has owned 2 or 3 LL Bean hooded sweatshirts over the years which he uses during cold weather for quick errands, walking the dog and outdoor work. I've even slipped them on to make a dash outside myself. This year when this cute women's version came out in the red and black check I rushed to get one for myself. If you have the same inclination you will be sorely disappointed. For starters the outer fabric is a very limp flannel, not jersey sweatshirt fabric at all. Furthermore the inside lining is featherweight "fuzz" which only adds to the limp unkept appearance of the entire garment. Sorry. I cannot recommend.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Disappointing I was disappointed in this hoodie. I live in Bean’s fleece lined flannels in the winter. I wear a turtleneck and the fleece lined shirts and hoodies and keep cozy warm. This hoodie, without fleece in the sleeves, is not even close to being as warm as the others. The flannel seems lighter in weight also. For the price you charge, there should be fleece in the sleeves. It is not necessary to use jersey for ease of donning. I never have trouble with my other lined flannels. I will keep it to wear in warmer weather because I really like the plaid. But......PLEASE in the future line the sleeves with fleece!!!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVE IT! Bought this for a MN October outdoor evening event where flannel shirts were encouraged. I wanted something to keep me warm without feeling bulky. It did the job! And super comfy too! I don't feel the least bit restricted anywhere, it covers the hips without creeping up, but it also doesn't feel too big. This will be a perfect winter/around town jacket for me as I don't like the typical bulky winter coats that get too warm while in the car or shopping. I love the deep pockets...no fear of losing keys or cell phone. Love a hood for those windy brisk moments from the car to the house/store. Super soft and Cozy! Would for sure buy again and recommend to others!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Odd fit As some reviewers wrote, it is not a flattering fit. I found it was boxy and cut into my middle, right where I don’t want that, not as too small but as part of the cut, kind of squarish which is not my frame. Yet the shirt in that same line with no lining, which I have is extremely flattering and same size. I found the hoodie attractive and learned the sleeves have lining that do provide extra warmth. It was that odd cut for me and apparently some others, that was not a keeper. I was disappointed because it’s a lovely top and looked like it had flattering lines from the photos. So many tops from LLBean have just that and I have enjoyed them. Not this one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVE IT! This jacket is quite warm. I love the Scotch plaid. They call it a "flannel shirt" but it's more than that. I love the Sherpa lining and the hood. It's just so warm and cozy. I've worn it in pretty cold weather. It hangs looser than a normal jacket, so in that respect I guess that's why it's considered more of a shirt, but I love it no matter what. I have not laundered it yet, so I will have to see how it holds up after washing on gentle cycle and cold water. It is 100% cotton so there may be some shrinkage and I may hang it to dry, although it does say you can wash on warm and tumble dry.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it A couple years ago, I bought a similar product, the Sherpa lined sweatshirt, specifically to wear around the house in winter. I love it, but it’s getting a bit worn, and I won’t wear it on quick trips to the store, etc.... this caught my eye, and given reviews and fact that it is relaxed fit (unlike sweatshirt), I purchased the medium. It is still very roomy, and I love it. I love the shirt style hem (I don’t like it when the hem hugs my hips) and the plaid pattern. It’s cozy and comfortable and I’ve gotten a few compliments when I wear it on quick errands. I think it’s quite clever to line the sleeves with smooth material so my arms don’t stick. Make in gray Stewart next year!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Wanted to love it, but it didn’t make the “cut” I was so excited to order this Sherpa-lined hoodie, as I had been watching it for months. When it arrived, I loved the colors (indigo tartan) and the materials, but the cut was very disappointing. I can’t complain too much, as the description did indicate it was a “relaxed” fit, but unfortunately the boxiness of it just was not very flattering on me. If this had been a more fitted cut, I still probably could have gone down a size, but I definitely would have hung onto it. As it was, I ended up returning it; for this price, I expect to be over-the-moon happy with my purchase, rather than settling for something that didn’t quite check all the boxes.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Runs small I saw that many folks said in their reviews that this item runs large, so I bought my regular size. Maybe it runs large in Misses or Petites. But in Plus Size, I found that this jacket runs small. I normally wear a 2X, but I would need a 3X if I wanted to wear anything heavier than a T-shirt. I like it, but if you are plus size like me, get the next largest size. I will admit that it is warm and the sherpa lining is amazingly soft, as is the outer flannel. But, I think it is pricy for what you get. Therefore, it's going back.
