Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointing Love the design and build of this boot. Just what I was looking for in a hunting boot. Bought them a week before I went up country for a week long grouse trip. I wore these boots every day for 9 days. It took about a week to break in, a little faster than anticipated. They kept my feet warm in 18' weather and dry in rain and wet gulches. I was sorely disappointed when I looked down on Friday and saw that the rubber was coming unglued from the leather. I was hoping they had more grit than that. Going ahead and giving a second pair a try. Hoping that it was just a fluke and not an inferior glue.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great fit and waterproof! One of the best boots I have used. I guide hard everyday in NOrthern Maine and Alaska in wet and rocky conditions and I am hard on boots. These boots made it through the entire year 2018 and I am ordering another pair so I can alternate days with them. It does appear that the boot delaminates on the over lapping joints, but it does not actually do that. This is a great work boot and very waterproof second only to rubber boots. I have a hard foot to satisfy. My previous boot was the Cresta Hiker leather. Please keep making this boot and tweak the little imperfections if possible.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I wanted to keep them but.. Boots looked exactly what I was looking for. When they arrived I was really excited to try them on and did so. Unfortunately I first noticed the side external heel guards were pushing into the boot when walking. After walking around the house a bit, the rubbing continued. Would really love to keep the boots but given the pressure point and likely continued rubbing, I'll be returning the boots. Quite sad but this issue is the kind that will not get any better with continued wear and will only get worse. Again quite bummed and hope this issue is corrected in the future so I would rebuy. Thank you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love These Boots I use these boots in the woods and fields and walking the dog on rough terrain. They are warm in temps 15 to 25 degrees F without a heavy sock (Connecticut winter), they are light and provide firm support. In these boots I can easily walk on trap rock and broken ground, over boulders and through broken icy pools without losing my balance. Souls are easy to scrape clean when caked with dried mud. Lacing system of hooks is quick and easy. I previously owned a pair of LL Bean high leather boots with eyelets, and lacing took forever. All details are perfect. Thank you LL Bean.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Didn't Hold Up Comfortable, warm, maybe a bit too wide/flexy for difficult terrain but do the job. Unfortunately, as someone else had mentioned, the lower overlay started to come apart where the boot flexes which allows water/snow to get inside the boot. This started happening during the second hunting season I owned them; I only wear them for hunting, so there weren't a ton of hours on these boots. Shame really, because they weren't cheap and I'm past the warranty claim time limit. I'd look elsewhere.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Read the reviews Sorry very disappointed..thought they would be something I could put some miles on in the woods but they are a very flimsy around the ankles and put pressure on and around ankles..not much support. After walking several woodlots and getting them broken in the the rubber was peeling off from the leather this was after only a few trips in the woods....Read the "I really wanted to like them" review & see pictures.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great boots I ordered these boots for a hunting trip in Colorado. Everyone told me to get them one size larger. using wool socks and your feet swell when hiking I wear size 11. I ordered size 12 they were too large I sent them back and ordered 11 1/2. these boots run large. the 11 1/2 were a perfect fit. these boots are a very stiff rug-id boot. We were hunting in snow at 15 degree and my feet were warm. I have plantar fascistis so I use a boot insert and my feet never bothered me the entire trip. These are great boots I highly recommend them.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Comfy I found these boots very comfortable, warm and dry. Well made and believe they will last years as my main use will only be during hunting season when weather is wet and cold enough. Over all construction is rugged and should handle any terrain. My only issue is with the tongue top inner finish. You can see the white lining and think a more finished appearance would compliment these boots better. Boost broke in quickly, had a pressure issue on with the right boot, top inner edge pressing against my inner shin bone. It eventually way away but think you have to expect break in for a certain area may take extra time. All in all a great boot. See the picture showing the white on the top of the tongue.
