Men's Lakewashed® Stretch Khakis, Natural Fit is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 108.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Slipping in Quality. I've owned multiple pairs of these lakewashed khakis over the years. When I compare my most recent pair with a pair I got two years ago, it's very apparent that they are not the same pant. The weight of the material is much lighter, the stitching details (rear pockets, especially) are not as nice, and some of the other finer details are missing altogether. On my newest pair, the thread around the fly button hole came completely undone after one wash. I'm a lifelong Bean customer, and will continue to be so, but I won't be buying these khakis again unfortunately.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from spots - irregular fading This pant is a great fit and cut. The Mineral Grey is a beautiful shade. So - what's the issue? This is the second pair and the second time this has happened. After washing according to directions - cold water etc - you pull the pants out of the machine and the color has faded out - but in only certain areas. So it looks like you splashed some sort of bleach on it. I don't use bleach has to be some issue with the dying process. If the color held up these pants would be a 5. I have the olive color too and hope that this doesn't happen when I wash them.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from They changed the fit This is the replacement for the original Lakewashed Khakis (item #290555). The updated style is awful as they somehow changed the fit so even though I ordered the exact same size they no longer fit and are way to tight across the waist and thighs making it almost impossible to put my hands in the front pockets. This is a shame as I wore the original style #290555 everyday for the past 6+ years. Now I need to find a new style of pants to wear :(

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Even better than the Double L chino! I had been a huge fan of the Double L chino for decades. Now I've tried these Lakewashed Stretch khakis, I won't go back. Very soft nap, a bit of stretch, not much in the way of wrinkles straight out of the dryer, and none of that "perma-crease" down the center of the leg that the Double L's have (even if you don't fold and store them that way!). A slightly less "formal" feel than the Double L, but I nonetheless utilize them in the same way - every day at the office, occasionally paired with a blazer. Without the perma-crease though, the casual usage expands. The basic fit is nearly identical to the Double L, but way softer and more comfortable. The chambray waistband and pocket liners are a cute feature - not sure of any functional advantage. Overall, great quality. This is my new go-to pant - thanks, LL Bean.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect pants I enjoy my beer and I have short little hobbit legs. As a result I have a hard time finding pants that fit. These pants fit and look great! They are also extremely comfortable!! I hope LL Bean will offer even more colors.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from THE OLD BEAN WAS BETTER You make a mistake asking a 70-year-older who grew up on quality, affordable Bean clothing to review your current line. The current stuff is thin. The pants' cuff won't last six months. I wouldn't mind this so much if you also sold quality, long-lasting products like Katahdin Iron Works pants. But you cancelled that line

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Where's the stretch? Very disappointed in this product- a first for me with LL Bean. I run between 36 and 37 at the waist line, and was hoping this stretch product would help bridge the gap. THERE IS NO STRETCH in the waistband, and no lateral stretch in the fabric. Why in the world would these pants be labeled stretch? I would like to send them back, but I did wear them and they have been washed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great pants, but I wish... My husband LOVES these pants. He's worn the wrinkle free natural fit chinos for years and decided to try these. Liked them so much we ordered a 2nd pair. As the chief laundry officer of the household, I wish these were available in a wrinkle free option like the chinos. They come out of the dryer "OK" but could use pressing. Other than that, great pants. Great fit and comfortable.
