Rated 5 out of 5 by from FAVORITE JACKET EVER Alright, I know what you're thinking: there are so many jackets in existence and this one is your favorite? How? What? Why? Well this jacket has is an eye catcher. It is unique and fit for any and every situation. I've taken it around the world and on so many backcountry trips that I've lost count in just a year. It's light weight, warm, and stylish. Fit is true to size and I love the deep zip for easy pullover action. Sadly I lost it about a month ago and I'm afraid life will never be the same. I'm debating repurchasing the same Katahdin or starting a new era with another color. Can't recommend more. So in love with this jacket

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful, lightweight, and warm I was looking for a lightweight, packable, warm layer to wear as an outer layer in cool weather and underneath other layers in colder weather. I tried this on in the store and loved the colors! I got the teal/olive combination. The colors are true to what I saw online. The fit is really great- I purchased my usual size small. My only wish is that it was a *tad* longer. Other than that, it's great. I've worn it under other layers outside in the evening for warmth & I've been surprisingly warm & comfortable with it on. Love the close-fitting hood and the kangaroo pocket, too.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cute, Oversized, Could Be Great with Improvement I agonized over which size to get since I live nowhere near an LL Bean store. I'm 5ft, 110-ish lbs and went with an XXS Petite. I'm usually an XS or S in most clothing. I would think an XXS petite would be extremely tiny but read the other reviews. It is the closest to being the correct size for me. It has just enough room for a long sleeve shirt and a light-to-mid-weight layer. This anorak will be great for walking the dog and on hikes in cooler weather. The colors are a bit more muted than online which I like. Lastly, this jacket would be much improved, perfect really, if it had just a bit of stretch to the fabric. If you lift your arms over your head, the whole jacket lifts, too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! This is far better than I expected. If I wear it as a top it fits fine but isn't the most fitted at the waist. Roomy enough to wear as a second layer. I prefer to wear it on its own though. It's not too hot and not too cool. It really is a perfect top. I've worn it outside on 40 and 50 degree days and have been plenty warm. I've worn it inside on cooler days and find this keeps me perfectly comfortable, and usually I'm complaining of being cold. The deep zipper is great for temperature regulation. The blue and green colors are extremely flattering. Very happy with my purchase, pleased with the size I chose, and will likely purchase another.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great colors, just not that warm or functional I love the color of my jacket, get lots of compliments on it. The jacket itself does not really keep you that warm without laying several light to medium weight garments under the jacket. The kangaroo pocket has a tiny zip pocket within it as well....just not sure what you would or could keep in it as it is way too small for a cell phone or car keys. The pullover tends to make my hair really staticky. I have worn this jacket on several rainy occasions, and I must say, that it has kept me dry. This would make a great late spring/rain jacket. Not recommended for real cold winter wear

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Surprisingly warm! I worried when I saw how thin this anorak was, so I carried a winter coat to the windy nighttime soccer playoffs. I did have 2 shirts under it but I did not need the additional winter coat because this was so warm, and it had a decent hood. (Temps were in the low forties and the air felt much colder - I had to wear my lambskin mittens.) I was so comfortable driving with it on because there was no bulky coat to hinder me. The huge pockets kept my phone, key and money safe in a secret zipped compartment. Truthfully, I was the only person in a group of six not wrapped in a wool blanket and complaining! Highly recommend this! Because I’m 64 and have achy shoulders, I do wish I had bought the full zip anorak but I find myself wearing this every day now.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Cute, not meant for keeping warm I read reviews saying to size down, so I bought a Large, while i normally wear XL. The Large is a bit snug, considering I have to wear several layers to keep warm. I will say I am a bit diappointed in that aspect of this pullover. The "warmer" rating does not live up to my expectations. It was about 45 degrees this weekend when I was fishing on the lake here in Michigan. I was wearing a long sleeve shirt, and a flannel shirt under this jacket, and I was not warm at all. I had to put another hoodie on TOP of the jacket to keep warm. The pros are that the jacket is cool looking, and I get a lot of compliments on it. I like the diamond-stitching. Overall I believe the quality is good, however don't but this with the intent of wearing it as a primary layer for keeping warm.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I own two I bought my first in a medium and it fits, but if I would want to wear something a little heavier, like a sweater or sweatshirt underneath, I could tell it would be snug. I am chesty, too. But,I absolutely loved the jacket, so I bought my second in a large and in another color, so if a little colder, I could wear a heavier layer underneath. The jacket is very lightweight and wind proof. I love the kangaroo pocket and I put my keys in the inside zip pocket. Plenty of room in the zip pocket. Looks very nice on and I get compliments when wearing. Plus, I don’t see anyone else wearing this type of jacket much. I like to be different.
