Rated 4 out of 5 by mmllshopper from cozy and warm These flannel sleep pants are wonderfully soft, cozy, and warm. I was concerned that they would be too long given some of the other review comments, but after washing and drying, they are a good length (and I'm only 5'4"). They have a tie at the waistband so you can make them tighter, but thankfully the elastic at the waist is tight enough to keep them on as who wants to be fumbling with a tie in the middle of the night? The only thing I would change is to make the legs less wide. I can literally put both legs into one pant leg hole, that's how wide they are. Recommend drying them inside out so the pockets (another nice touch) get dry.

Rated 3 out of 5 by MostlyBean from Average. Not the best Bean Product The flannel is just okay. It has not pilled as others have mentioned. It is a slightly thin flannel, fit's at the waist and is comfortable to sleep in. Compared to other flannel pajama's I'd say this is a bit disappointing. It shrunk quite a bit in length. It's now above my ankles and I don't have long legs. It is baggy and frumpy. The quality does not match up to PJ Salvage flannel which is the same price point. I tend toward LLB because of the brand quality. Some items remain true to the brand and worth the price. Unfortunately, this does not.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Danabyrd from Warm and comfy I love these pj's! I recently moved from warm Los Angeles, to cold Washington DC and I'm building a winter wardrobe. These pj's are warm, soft and comfortable. I am 5'6, 125-128 lbs and the xs fit. In fact these pj's are on the big side, even after washing and drying them in the dryer they did not shrink in width or length. The real cherry on this pajama sundae is that they have pockets! It's really hard to find Womens pajamas with pockets. I went back to order other colors and they were completely sold out! I'm hoping they get re-stocked before winter ends.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Oldyeller from Comfortable, lovely plaids, my favorite pj pants These flannel lounging pants are attractive, comfortable & warm. I love the 2 plaids I bought & easily paired with Bean long sleeved tees. I am only 5' 1" tall & bought size Petite Medium. They do run a little large. They may have been a little long at first but never were below my ankles. After washing each pair probably 15 times, the fabric is holding up well. My only complaint involves the pockets. During washing they bunch up into a ball & are actually uncomfortable to lie on. I now iron the pockets after washing, but will soon try correcting the problem using my sewing machine

Rated 5 out of 5 by Harley from Cozy PJ Pants The plaid PJ pants are made from incredibly soft flannel. They are somewhat long for my short stature, but washed once in hot water, they shrink a bit and can be rolled up to a proper length. Also it is rare to find pockets in PJ pants these days, so I appreciate this style all the more. I also purchased a pair of the print flannel PJ pants. The fabric in the print pair has a different feel- not quite as soft as the plaid. The fit is pretty much the same, and again, the pockets are great.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Sierramom2 from Very cozy I ordered two pairs of these for Christmas - one for me, one for my college-aged daughter. We love them. They are so soft and cozy, and the weight is good for sleeping. The fit is quite roomy. I wear a 12-14 in pants (usually a 14) and the large is plenty big, and the rise is long, so these aren't low-rider flannel pants. They shrink a bit in the length when you wash them, which is fine because they are long (we're 5'7 and 5'8). I took off one star because I think they are sort of expensive, but I like the cut and the fabric, and the pockets.

Rated 1 out of 5 by pacificNWlady from Disappointed in LLBean I have been an avid LLBean customer for 30 years. In the past few years I have noticed a decreasing level of quality in their fabrics. I paid over $40 for these flannel pants. The quality of the fabric is incredibly cheap. They look cheap, drape cheap and feel cheap. They are going back. I had the same issue with a knit fabric jacket I purchased earlier this year. It pains me to say all this because I've loved LLBean for a long time. Sadly, it looks like I am going to have to start looking elsewhere to find quality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by desertlass from best flannel around LL Bean always has the best flannel, and especially important is that it is brushed inside as well as outside. I know about flannel because I'm originally from Maine. I'm 5'3, 112 pounds, ordered XS (LLB always runs a little big on me), and as expected, they shrank up in the bottom hem a little over 1 inch but did not shrink anywhere else. The "rise" is deep and comfortable, and the elastic waist is not too tight, which is rare in flannel pj's. I like to sleep comfortably in loose, warm pj's. The red plaid is beautiful.
