Perfect Travel Cargo Shorts
I bought these cargo shorts for a trip to Europe because I wanted the extra pockets for my passport and other essentials. I also prefer cargo shorts with buttoned pockets instead of Velcro, which can be surprisingly difficult to find. It's even harder to find 100% cotton cargo shorts, but nothing is more comfortable.
I chose the 10-inch inseam, and it was exactly what I was looking for. The dusty olive color looks great, the fabric feels excellent, and the shorts fit true to size. I highly recommend them.

A bit of elastic a big difference
These are just right for me. I've been losing weight as I head into my mid-70s, and shorts have been literally falling off. The few inches of elastic at each side make all the difference in the world. My cargo shorts no longer fall off!

Depends on your expectations
I guess it was my fault for misunderstanding the meaning of “Tropic-Weight.” I assumed these would be made of a light fabric, suitable for wearing in hot (tropical) weather. They’re actually more like the chinos that LL Bean sells. The sample colors show them being pretty wrinkly, so I shouldn’t have expected to come out of the dryer looking neat…which they didn’t.
On the plus side, they do fit well and seem quite sturdy, so if you live in a cool climate and don’t mind ironing, you should like these shorts.
