Now I can walk upright again.
Back surgery left me hunched over a bit and older age donated a balance issue to add to my history. These poles allow me to walk more upright and to be steady even over surfaces that are not flat. Using a cane made me wobble as I walked. These keep me straight. They are very lightweight, easy to adjust for the perfect length, and allow me to put some downward weight on them to keep my balance with no fear of them collapsing.

I love the walking sticks and use them on wooded trails, but also in the city to help with my balance. My children tell me I have a better gait than with a cane.
I was disappointed that the tips fell off soon after I began using them and eventually got lost.
Thank you for carrying the replacement . It was an easy fix. LLBean always stands behind their products.

We use our poles when snow-shoeing, what they were designed for. Was reading something about using poles when walking for exercise because this requires controlled arm movements which adds to the physical movement for body which increases the results for the exercise. Didn’t want to damage the tips on the poles, so looked on line and was pleased to see the rubber slip on tips which protect thetip and provide a little stability for the pole
