Everyday basics
What could be better than these comfy pants and a camp shirt or a chunky sweater. They are ready at hand to run erronds, take the dog to the park, meet your girls for coffee. Smooth and crisp and comfortable no matter what you're doing.

I bought this pant before only in the slim leg. I really like them, but this time I got the straight leg which is longer in length. Was not expecting this in the petite. I’m going to have to hem them.😕

Comfortable and lightweight, but not breathable
I bought these and was pleased with the fit and the weight (very lightweight) thinking they would be good for hot weather when I didn't want to wear shorts. Went for a short walk/hike in warm (not even hot) weather and was disappointed in how hot and sweaty they became very quickly. Not breathable at all. I would not wear them for any outdoor activities. Luckily, I dress casually for work, so will use them for that. One other issue, which I've had with other LLB pants is the tag is scratchy.

Best pants, any weather.
The LLBean vista pants are the only pants I wear (regular or slim leg). They are comfortable, zip pockets, and wash nicely. They come in crop or shorts, and lined for winter. Easy to pack.
However, I wish they came in more colors! Please LLBean, these pants have been offered in the same 6 colors for the past ~10 years. Please add other colors (not prints or plaids). Thank you.

Not versatile
The Vista pants are great as an exterior layer and for coverage, but they are very disappointing for breathability. I was drenched with sweat for a relatively cool but humid day. Cinching up the bottoms helped, but I couldn't figure out how to make it stay put. These pants also are not warm at all but themselves, so it's really not a versatile piece.
