Decent snow sneaker in wide width
I have a wide foot and I always hesitate to buy wide shoes from a shoe brand that I don't typically purchase from. I was especially hesitant because these were a new item and had no reviews when I made my purchase. I'm happy to say that they seem to fit quite well. I wear an 8D shoe and the 8 wide fits me quite well. It is snug and there's very little give but that's actually what I prefer in a shoe meant to be worn during snowy weather. I tried them on with the thick socks that I would wear with this type of shoe. It was all quite snug but there was no pain or pressure points that I could tell. The zip failed to zip up the entire way, lacking about a 1/2 inch, but I can live with that. I'm in NC in an area that typically gets snow maybe once or twice per year, but when we do, I have needed a waterproof shoe that works better than the water resistant boots that I currently use. Hopefully these will do the trick for me in snowy and wet weather. They also seem to have good traction that should do well on snow. If it gets icy here, I'll add my ice cleats to them so they should work okay for that as well. I plan to use these when I have to shovel the driveway, walk to and from the mailbox, or if I have to drive during snowy weather. For that level of activity and use, I think these are a good choice.
