Our iconic all-weather fleece-lined boot, handcrafted by experts in Brunswick, Maine, and made to be worn day after day, season after season. A true original when our founder introduced them in 1912, and still a step ahead over 100 years later.
- For this style, we recommend you order a half size down from your regular shoe size. For example, if you normally wear a size 9, order a size 8.5.

Sloppy glue seam work
For being made across the street from the flagship store and constantly stressing greatly quality and handmade, the glue on the seams of these shoes looks absolutely sloppy and messy. When i put these on to walk in them it looks like the top will pull off and away. For the price of these I certainly expected better. Very sloppy work. If they don’t hold up this year it will be a one and done for LLbean. I bought these for my lasting long term go to boots.

Love the boots! Wish I would have bought 1/2 size bigger to accommodate wool socks. These are snug maybe will loosen with time.’

My mom bought these boots for me as I’ve wanted & wanted since we lived in colder climates in CO., about 40 years ago. Yes she got them as a Christmas present for 2026, so I won’t wear them until then. We live in AZ. where there are 2-4 Seasons! But rest assured, we are loyal and big fans of LLBean & I CAN NOT wait to enjoy them for the rest of my life. I loved opening the new box at delivery & enjoyed the leather smell.
