We've made the chino more comfortable than ever, in soft-washed cotton chambray with stretch for ease. In a versatile ankle style with a drawstring elastic waist that's easy to pull on and looks great too.
It's not easy to make a classic even better, but we did. First, we added a touch of stretch to traditional cotton and washed it for exceptional softness and ease. Then, we added a full elastic waistband for comfort worthy of lounging and style ready for any occasion.

Perfect fit with good choices of inseam
I'm blown away at how well this item fits. Even with LLBean pants, I'm always having to fiddle with hems that are too long. The 29" medium tall is perfect for me. Don't know why in the last couple years the standard length for women's pants has lengthened to 30-31", but it's a pain to me to have to rehem. The waistline is also perfect, but I wanted these with a drawstring to cinch in if the waist was too loose. I've also had to occasionally take in the elastic in the waistband, in LLBean pull-on jeans, which is not a task I much care for. Please, LLBean, offer more of all your pants in four different inseams. I highly recommend these and will be hopeful about seeing fall and winter pants offered in a couple more inseam lengths.
