These are way longer than 6 inch’s. I laid them next to other LL Bean 6 inch shorts, and these appear to be 2 inch longer.

Very nice shorts
I have pretty much all the colors in this 6 inch Suffex short they’re nice and roomy good length overall they fit very well and I can wear them as shorts and because they drive very fast. I can wear them into the pool.. I particularly like this sky blue color so much. I bought two pair goes with everything.. the material wears well. I do wish that the lining on the inside fit a little better and was made out of a little better material. It’s very non-elastic.. but overall I’m very satisfied with this product

Just a couple annoying things
I bought a pair of these in the gold color and have worn them twice to hike in.
First, the liner just doesn't function as intended or hoped. Second, the liner is made of a material that is abrasive and abrasive in an area where there is no benefit to this feature. Third, after two washings with gold Bean t shirts, the shorts look dingy, not bright.
I've had three pairs of these in the past and the first and second issues were present but to a lesser degree. Rather disappointing.

Durable nylon hiking shorts
Good quality nylon shorts that hold up very well. I have tried other brands but none have been as durable. Most other brands are made of cheap polyester or cotton that are are not abrasion resistant and look like pajamas. They're the perfect length. Just above the knee so you can easily run and hike with them. I've been buying this brand of shorts for more than a decade.

I do love these shorts. I have several pair. This time though I bought a pair of gray and black. The gray is fine but I’m disappointed in the black color. It is much closer to a charcoal gray that a pair of true black shorts.
