Wrinkle-Free Pinpoint Oxford Cloth Shirt, Slightly Fitted is rated 3.6 out of 5 by 63.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed I love the look and no-iron quality of these shirts but I am sending three of them back due to fraying or splitting open at the crease of the collar and ripping open along the crease in the sleeves. I'm going to try getting three more to replace the ones I'm sending back as I hope that LL Bean has fixed the problem by now. I have noticed several other reviews of those who seem to be experiencing the same issues so LL Bean has to know by now they have a serious defect in these shirts. I hope they have corrected the problem because like I said I love the shirt and like doing business with LL Bean.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from still has the same problem of short body These are some of the best non-iron shirts still available. Other brands I have ordered now only promise to be non-iron for 25-30 washes. Unfortunately I these shirts are too short in the body to stay tucked in - at least for those of us who need a 34/35 sleeve. They say they are proportioned but longer sleeves require longer bodies. Wish this could be corrected so I could buy a lot more. Also shirt sleeve could be a bit slimmer in upper arm to match the trimmer fit body. Lastly, I have found shirt sleeve length to be a problem. Have sent a few back because shirt sleeve was made too short - and cuff too tight to fit watch under it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not durable I was very pleased when I got these shirts. (I bought two.) They fitted very well, the cloth had good hand, the size was as stated, and they looked wonderful. Then they broke. I don't mean that after a year or so they got threadbare at the wrists and collars. I mean pieces of cloth dangled off the cuffs, and all this after seven months. I have never had a shirt give out so quickly or so dramatically. I suspect (but don't know for sure) that the wrinkle-free treatment the cloth receives leaves it very weak at folds. If LL Bean figures out a way to improve durability, add that fact to the description and I'll try more of this shirt. Otherwise, I'll stick to shirts with normal lifespans.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Blue shirt collar frayed in 6 months We ordered two, a yellow and a blue, and the yellow is still going strong and looking good. But 6 months in, the blue shirt collar--around the neck, not the points or edges--is worn through. We are going to try again with another blue one to see how it goes, but after paying $50 for a shirt, I expect it to last longer than this, especially considering how carefully we take care of my spouse's work clothing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice shirt I have bought many of these shirts in various colors. I love the fit, feel, no wrinkles, simple care, and the look of a great classic button down. I have seen a few reviews about the material fraying. Over time I have had the problem of them splitting apart but that is after many times wearing them not to mention wash cycles. The material is thin which makes it feel so good. Leave the shirts the way they are. Some of the people that have been negative should consider the Oxford with heavier material. Keep making them ( at least in size 18x37 slightly fitted).

Rated 2 out of 5 by from didn't look at all the reviews I tried on the shirt after ordering and the fit seemed ok in the chest, neck and sleeves. After washing and wearing for the first time I noticed constant bunching above the waist. I compared to the slim/tailored fit shirts in this size that I have from two other brands and the issue was not the width, as I thought, but the yoke or tail. This shirt is significantly shorter than the other brands with little yoke below the waist, which causes the shirt to more easily slide out and bunch. Only now do I see some of the early comments pointing this out, unfortunately.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent I'm genuinely puzzled by other reviews saying these shirts are of inferior quality. On the contrary, the fabric is very nice--even a bit strurdier than one might expect--and the fit and detailing are top-notch. Worn with a tie, the collar does just what it's supposed to, fitting around the knot without buckles or rumples. The sleeves have placket buttons (a nice detail), and the slim-fit sizing fits me beautifully. This shirt would work equally well with a pair of chinos or a business suit. Once again, Bean serves up a first-class item at a very fair price.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not as Expected I have three other LL Bean Wrinkle-Resistant Oxford Cloth Shirts, all purchased from two years to six months ago. This one is not the same. The cloth is thin, doesn't look or feel like pinpoint oxford. Seems more like a thin broadcloth. I have bought almost all of my clothes and a lot of other things from LL Bean for many years. Let's hope this one product is an anomaly and that LL Bean quality is not changing for the worst. On the positive side, the shirt is truly wrinkle free and can be worn right out of the dryer.
