Rated 4 out of 5 by from Color Matching? I love the quality of the Bean Oxford shirts. First, at 5ft 9in, I found the regular fit shirt to be just a little too short. With only 7 buttons and none below the belt, it untucked too easily. Now I order the tall. Second, color names and descriptions are a bad match to the actual color. The french blue is just like the common light blue found at other retailers. I expected a darker blue. The burnt orange may have a hint of orange but it really is more pink than orange. While I haven't ordered all colors, I would guess that the light blue and french blue are very similar as are the burnt orange compared to the pink.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Best Dress shirt ever. I've been a purchaser for more than 20 years. And I love LLBean shirts as it is built in extreme high quality tailoring. I use this shirt for business purposes. But the looking from far is apropriate enough to treat as a dress shirt. Also, I like this shirt because no ironing required. The best shirts ever comparing from many other dress shirts I bought from other makers. For information, this shirt is very tough and orthodox oxford shirt. So you may feel this shirt has thick fabric. But overall, I'll give this shirt a top rating, with a rave review, and recommendation to my friends. I love them! "100% satisfaction guaranteed" LLBean goods will not betray your expectations. Good job! I'd like LLBean to continue this type of good job!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointment Lately, LLBeans shirts have changed and are now disappointing. Whether its a change in their fit or in the fabric, they are just not comfortable to wear anymore. I have been buying clothing from LLB for decades having grown up in NE and never really ran into any problems. Honestly, 75% of my wardrobe is LLB. That will have to change. This shirt was so poor, I had to turn around while driving to the office to change. THe fit, the feel of the fabric was amazing poor. That's a disappointment after sizing problems with the polo shirt purchased before it which had never happened before. Now I think we'll reconsider our usual trip to Freeport to stock up during our visit in July.I guess its time to find nother brand. A shame

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Basically self-ironing I bought this as an easy-to-care-for travel shirt. It has everything I was looking for: comfortable fabric even in hot weather, great fit, and, most importantly, I can wash it in a hotel sink, wring it out, hang it to dry overnight (less than 6 hours really), and have a shirt that looks like it's just been pressed. "Wrinkle free" here really means wrinkle free. I was amazed by how well it looked in the morning. This is now my favorite shirt to travel with.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Favorite! This is, by far, one of my husband's favorite summer shirts!. It's a durable, crisp, "go to" shirt, and the wrinkle-resistant classic oxford cloth insures its appropriateness for ANY occasion! Hubby has worn it as a dress shirt, with slacks and blazer, and also with his favorite (L. L. Bean) cargo shorts. It's truly that versatile! He prefers the vertical stripe, and owns 3 of them. The first one was purchased years ago, and the most recent, within the year. Thank you, L. L. Bean, and please do NOT discontinue this great product.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Shirts I have bought these shirts for my husband. After about 10 washing they absolutely fall apart in the washing machine. It seems the fabric comes apart at the buttons. The shirts are not really worth the money if they don't hold up in the machine. Very disappointed.this happened to 4 shirts.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from French blue is a very light french blue color I own 7 or 8 LL Bean, short sleeved, oxford cloth shirts. Just received the French blue. I love these shirts but I was a little disappointed in how light blue the French blue color is. If this is French blue, then the blue must be a pale, robin's egg blue! Also, I may be imagining things, but the weight of the cloth seems a little lighter than my other oxford cloth shirts. For you vertically challenged men out there, I'm a short, round guy: 5'6" with a 46" waist, so I buy the 18" neck to accommodate my girth. That makes the shoulders a bit wide and the sleeves a little too long for a short guy, but they don't "stretch" across my waist and they are very comfortable, especially when sitting down. Overall, it's still a very good look. These shirts are truly wrinkle free out of the dryer, but look even better when pressed. And they hold a press and look very sharp for a long time. Overall, fantastic shirts.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome shirts The short sleeve Oxford is great. Nice colors, nice thick Oxford cotton. For more than 20 years I wore nothing but polo, but now I am a bean fan. The colors are nice, comfortable shirts and best of all, no dry cleaning. I cannot believe how they look right out of the dryer. They look crisp just like they were dry cleaned. At $2 per shirt for dry cleaning it's a nice savings. I recently ordered about 5 or 6 shirts. LOVE THEM ! Nice job bean. I ordered some long sleeve oxford dress shirts too..
