Rated 3 out of 5 by Pawpower from Bummed I purchased these slippers after Christmas last year because I knew LLBean would offer great products. When they arrived, I fell in love with them. They were large but wearing with a pair of socks helped them to feel more snug. They were so warm and comfy that I wore them often. I began to notice the shearling was matting down by the time it was warming up so I put them up. I've been wearing them this season for 6 weeks and am dismayed that the shearling has become bare spots. It is very uncomfortable when wearing them with bare feet so socks are a must. Thankfully, I haven't developed a hole in the toe! I sure expected better quality from LLBean.

Rated 5 out of 5 by adamske from Favourite slippers ever! I am ordering my 4th pair of these slippers. They are my absolute favourite. I put them on as soon as I get home from work. Sometimes I forget to take them off when leaving the house, fortunately, they also look perfectly acceptable for a trip to the grocery or dropping the kids off at sports. They keep my feet toasty warm all winter. After about 2-3 years, I wear out the inside, (I tend to wear them barefoot) and at that point they become my summer slippers. I have included a photo, in case someone is curious about what these might look like with daily wear. I have flat feet and these provide great support and stability. Please don't ever stop carrying these!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Rascalstar from Used to be best slippers on the planet .... These used to be the best slippers on the planet, and I was dismayed when Bean didn't carry them for a time. I couldn't find anything as supportive and comfortable, no matter the price. Now I have a second pair and agree with other reviewers over quality of the interior of the slipper. It's not what it was, but I'll order another pair hoping that Bean relays this to the manufacturer and the slipper gets improved. The sheepskin inside lasted longer in the old ones. These slippers are good for problem feet that need arch support and for plantar fasciitis to a point. The toe is shaped to the foot, unlike other brands. The old slippers made me say "Ahhhhh" when I put them on.

Rated 1 out of 5 by DevilMayCare from Extremely poor quality this time I've been wearing these slippers for years and after wearing out my second pair I ordered this pair. I was shocked at how thin and flimsy the leather was. The fleece was thick but the leather is very poor quality. These have always been great slippers but not any more. I'm returning them and I'll have to shop elsewhere to find better quality. I tried dozens of nicknames and word combinations to get a nickname that hadn't been used before finding something it would accept so I could post this review because the unique one I always use had already been used by someone else (ME!). That's one way to discourage people from posting reviews.

Rated 4 out of 5 by ReviewerIam from Not what they used to be.... My favorite slippers and I first ordered these years ago. When my first pair finally got tired after many years, I ordered the same slippers only to find out that the product is not the same. The interior is not nearly as thick and after wearing these for several months, they already have some bear spots on the foot-bed. The support and comfort are still there but the materials just don't seem to be the same quality of the ones I originally had. I still like them very much but was disappointed that the quality has gone down. I hope LLBean will do a quality check and have the manufacturer improve the materials used. I still love the slippers and will continue to enjoy.

Rated 3 out of 5 by hockeymom6 from So Sad I bought these last year for myself to replace an old pair of slippers, from another company, that I had that lasted 4+ years. I just wear these around the house and I'm not very hard on my slippers. After a year the shearling wore away at the toe and now there are 2 small holes in the toe of one. I was wondering how soon that would happen since the material on the outside is very thin to begin with. They are super warm and I like the hard bottom which seems to be good quality but they were expensive and shouldn't have holes in the toe already. I think I'm going to send these back for a refund. Very sad.

Rated 2 out of 5 by bargenhunter from Not the same clog of years past I am a LLBean avid customer. I always wear a size 7. I wore these clogs for 10 years and finally just had to replace 2 years ago. Ordered one pair and although the inside was thin and disappeared within the first winter, hung on to them for running outside on short trips. In Sept. of 2014, I ordered another pair, with hopes of change in the lining. And it did, for the worse. The inside is very thin and within two months, the shoes are too big and my feet stay cold and I'm in South Carolina. The lining is practically not there. So disappointed in these. I have requested a send back and will do so.

Rated 1 out of 5 by TwoScoreAndTen from Wicked Bad Don't waste your money! I have had these slippers for two months. In less than one month from receiving them as a gift, the shearling was flat and not at all "soft and cozy." Last week one slipper developed a hole in the toe! Closer inspection revealed that the slipper is made with very thin leather and very sparse shearling. This is an example of the manufacturer cutting costs by cutting quality. So, I am back to wearing my 5-6 year old pair (same slipper, but superior quality). The only reason I wanted a new pair was that the shearling in my old pair was worn out at pressure points in the foot bed. I am so disappointed, and I would like my husband, who gave them to me for Christmas, to receive a refund.
