Rated 5 out of 5 by WVCamper95 from My Disney World Bag! I already had 2 of these bags and I had to get another since they come in purple now! (The kids will get the old ones.) I use this bag for visiting amusement parks, zoos, etc with my family. It holds a small first aid pouch, sunscreen, jackets, water bottles, and still enough room to add some souvenirs. I stash 2 or 3 umbrellas in the front pouch with the wrist straps hooked through the strap on the side. I did try to stuff it into the stowaway pouch and it was difficult. I don't really need to do this so it wasn't a problem for me. LL Bean should just rename the bag as something other than stowaway. It is an excellent bag for what I use it for.

Rated 4 out of 5 by dionysia from lightweight but formless This back pack is great in terms of pockets, incredibly lightweight, attractive, comfortable fit across the shoulders, etc. I really like the sleeves on the sides for water though to be honest, I keep finding that my water drops out because of the formless nature of the bag. Because the bag is so lightweight and formless, it collapses down and it's actually difficult to find items in the bag ... feels like I'm digging down to China ... frustrating. It feels as though the bag could use some kind of lightweight wiring or something to make it stay somewhat straight up when it is placed down - this way when you open the bag you can actually see the bottom of it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by KimA98 from Love This Day Pack! I bought this day pack so I could have a smaller backpack for bike riding. Not only are the mesh side pockets great to hold a bottle of water and my cell phone (or whatever!) conveniently, I love that I can securely place my helmet in the front pocket and secure it with the fasteners that are on either side after using it. And there are so many storage options...pockets, zipped pouches, etc. And it's so lightweight! It's also great for my daily subway commutes. One tiny hiccup...I would love to have written instructions on how to fold the daypack, rather than watch the video...though I use it so much, I might not need to fold it up anyway!

Rated 5 out of 5 by EFM47 from Perfect for Disney World I bought this bag specifically for my trip to Disney World in December and it was absolutely perfect. Although it's a little awkward to fold inside itself, it made it much easier to pack in my luggage for the flights. While in Disney we were able to fit, two rain coats, a sweatshirt, an extra pair of shoes (sometimes two) two water bottles, snacks, two pairs of Minnie ears, two cameras and a purse. It was never too heavy or cumbersome and it always fit on the rides with us. The waist buckle and chest buckle were very comfortable. I highly recommend this backpack for traveling.

Rated 5 out of 5 by ExploretheWorld from Great light daypack I bought this for a two-week trip through South America and Mexico. It is just right for day hikes and excursions where you need more than a fanny pack but less than a heavy-duty daypack. It held a towel, change of clothes, raincoat, and lunch bag.It has several zippered pockets and holds two water bottles, which I could take out and replace while wearing the pack (I can't reach the bottles while wearing my heavy duty daypack). It survived being stuffed into its pouch and unstuffed frequently, with no damage. The trick to stuffing it is: turn the pouch inside out (the pouch attached to the inside of the pack).

Rated 5 out of 5 by annek91 from My Global Travel Companion Was given this bag as a gift, for a medical trip to, let's leave it at a VERY REMOTE part of Uganda. It's experienced sea, sand, soil and surf. This bag held, and continues to hold, everything for which I need. Very light weight which is a real plus, you don't have to first consider the weight of the empty bag when considering what you're going to pack as the bag weights next to nothing yet is a REAL WORK HORSE! After I came home, I threw it right in the washer. It continues to hold up like a real champ and is now my 'go to' bag, for all my adventures, foreign and domestic...even if it's just traveling an hour away for an afternoon down the shore.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Calsea from Love this day pack I use this day pack when traveling. It fits nicely in my suitcase while getting to my destination, is light weight but holds all I need during the day, and I either pack it away on the home-bound trip or use it as a second carry-on. Stowing it can be confusing--I actually forgot and tried many different ways. Then I remembered: The pack fits in the inside pocket from the top of the pack. I put my thumbs inside the top of the pocket and fold under, then start stuffing. At some point while stuffing, I'm thinking "It's not going to fit." But it does. If I were clever I'd post a video, but, sigh, I'm not...

Rated 5 out of 5 by PaigeWF from Better than ever This is my second Stowaway Day pack - not because anything happened to the first one, but because it was taken over by my son. I love the new addition of the inside flap pocket - great place to put wallets, passports and more. And now the side pockets are slightly higher and with a new way to tighten it down - before I had issues with water bottles falling out, and now they're totally secure. It's lightweight, scrunching down to NOTHING if I want to throw it into a larger bag for day use on trip or to use as a carry on on the way back on a trip...though often it IS my carry on, since everything fits in it and it's so super light weight. Best day pack I've ever had!
