Rated 4 out of 5 by TgcCape from Seem pretty good It's only been cool enough a few times thus far but my initial experience is pretty good. I wanted them mostly for dog walks in a very windy neighborhood. The medium fit true, they were the perfect warmth in the 30's, wind resistant and I didn't need to remove the glove to pick up the poo. I don't expect them to handle sub freezing temps for long periods nor would I use them to do rough work. They're light, warm, packable, wind resistant and you still have dexterity. I don't use a mobile phone (gasp) so I can't comment on that. I did drive once with these and they were slippery; not recommended for driving.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Trizzo from Poor Stitching These are great gloves, but I wish they were constructed better. I received two pair and the stitching is shotty or the material is not the best quality, because they have ripped in the same place both times. I am only using these gloves to walk from my car to the office and driving. I am not outside shoveling or other activities where they would be more likely to get damaged. The rip happens at the outside of the thumb, where the thumb is stitched to the body of the glove. I also do not have ogre hands where my hand is mis-shaped or something where it would make sense for these gloves to rip. This is my two cents, have a great day!

Rated 5 out of 5 by WhippetPal from Great glove, but remember what it is intended for This is a great lightweight glove. My hands are naturally warm, so I tend to "get by" through most winter short walks, trips to the store, scraping off the car, and so forth, with a pair of sheer leather driving gloves. These gloves are meant for days a bit below freezing, bur certainly not intended for snowball fights or extended use of a snow thrower. They are, as described, commuter gloves. They take very little room in your luggage, they fit in your pocket, and they will address 90% of your needs. However, they should not be your "go to" harsh condition gloves. I tried these gloves on at the LL Bean store, and found very little difference in size between the Medium and the Large (which I purchased). I decided on the Large simply because I figured that if my hands ever got wet and I needed to get them inside of the gloves, it would be a bit easier to slip them on. The size difference was barely perceptible, however.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Horner68 from hard to find My husband requested a pair of these gloves for Christmas. Our local store was out of his size in black, so I gave him another color (which the two other color choices are strange shades of green and brown). He really wanted black to go with his black LL Bean 850 down jacket. I found a pair of black gloves online; however, when they arrived, the two gloves were clearly different sizes, even though they were both labeled XL. One of the thumbs was stitched strange on the inside so it didn't feel right. The gloves went back to the store. :-( They're on backorder now until June. We'll try to get another pair next season. They're light wait, warm and water proof which is why my husband wants a pair.

Rated 5 out of 5 by yoellis from Finally - Good Light Gloves!! It is always a problem, in the early days of the change to cold weather - most winter gloves are too heavy, and cloth hand coverings are too…ineffectual. These Packaway golves have solved that problem, once and for all. They are light but warm - warm but not too warm; they are light but not Fabergé fragile - it remains to be seen how they hold up when the real cold hits, but in between seasons, these gloves are fantastic! I couldn't be more pleased… Ellis W, Baltimore

Rated 3 out of 5 by Bean1dude from Glove pro and con Nice and lightweight gloves. However the wrist portion is somewhat short and wide. I prefer my gloves to prevent drafts up the wrist a bit better thus I returned them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Ryan327 from Crazy warm When I first opened them, I thought that there was no way such a light weight glove would be warm. After about 60 seconds on my hands, I went and ordered my wife a pair! Ridiculously light weight and crazy warm!! Amazing gloves

Rated 2 out of 5 by egale from Not warm These look great and fit great. They are lightweight and fold nicely so they don't take up a lot of space. One problem, they are not warm at all. Used them today and was outside for about 20 minutes in 27 degree temperature. My hands almost immediately felt cold and numb. I didn't expect these to be heavy duty warm but these are almost worthless.
