Rated 5 out of 5 by Nclark from Best suitcase! I purchased this bag about six months ago and have taken it on at least six different trips including a five day trip to Paris. When I boarded the plane all of the overhead compartments were full, however my bag fit very comfortably under the seat infront of me. It was great to not have to worry where my luggage was. The zippers are strong and the canvas will last a long time. Every trip I have taken with this bag I am always glad I have it. I love the ability to fit everything in but also keep it organized. A great features is I can separate my clothes and the suitcase layers flat when I open it. This makes it very easy to pack and unpack.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Cakewalk from Perfect for One Bag Travel I recently returned from a trip to Europe on Emirates, which only allows one bag in the Economy Class cabin. I had no problem fitting my folded up purse, Ipad mini, wet wipes, scarf and various comfort items for the long flight as well as some clothing items in case we lost the checked bag. Plenty of room in various pockets and it fit under the seat. When checking in on the way back, all carry-on bags were weighed. Most of the wheeled items had to be checked, but this one came in at 8kgs and I had no problem carrying on. I think outside compression straps would help keep the items in the front pockets from falling forward and give the bag a sleeker appearance.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Str8shooter from Quality, Professional and Multi-Use-Business,etc. Purchased for a recent trip to Europe. Quality structured nylon with quality heavy duty zippers with pull tabs. Lots of space and quick access compartments. Can carry like a quality bag with shoulder strap that resembles a high quality piece of luggage (hidden backpack straps). Carry as a back pack for walking/day trips. Main compartment opens the pack in half with two luggage style compartments for clothing (mesh openings and compression strap for clothing). Can easily open to remove items for TSA or quick removal. Lots of room and ability to hold a lot of weight. This may be my new "go to bag" for quick or intermediate travel. You will love this bag. Quality and professional look.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Embo64 from Versatile Bag With Great Storage I just used this bag for the first time this week on a 4-day business trip. I was able to fit quite a bit in it (love the tension straps with clips), and I really like the separate compartments. It was a bit heavy once packed, but I used the backpack straps and found they balanced the weight comfortably. It was a bit big to fit under the seat in United Economy (although it was fine on JetBlue), but fit right in with the roller bags above. The only things I would add are a mesh pocket for a water bottle (although I suppose its placement would depend upon whether you are doing backpack or cross-body wear) and external tie straps for a blanket or coat (again, same issue). Good sturdy bag with lots of options for packing and carrying.

Rated 5 out of 5 by RoamingTraveler from Best Travel Pack- better than hiking backpack I've been doing 2 week long international trips with just a bookbag. Most people will use the bulky tall hiking backpacks but I didn't want something I just stuff and have a hard time getting things out of. This split bag had plenty of room to back 2 weeks WORTH of cloths, toiletry bag, fist aid kit, and headphones. The zippered on each side helped a lot with compartmentalizing items. I love it that when I get to the hotel, I just open it up like a suitcase and see everything. I don't have to reach into the depths of a hiking backpack. It is very comfortable to wear and walk around in. It hold's it shape even when stuffed and doesn't tip over when you set it on the floor. I am a petite women and I was able to comfortably walk around with this backpack weighting 30lbs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by CallieO from Best Travel Bag Ever! Not sure why some reviews think this bag is too large for carry-on on international flights. This is my only luggage and I always carry it on. It is well organized and designed and roomy enough for 2 10-day international trips, domestic flights and every trip that I've been on for the last 2 years. Light weight and small enough to always meet size and weight restrictions. Extremely durable - it still looks brand new! Quite a few airline attendants have asked me where to get one. I like it so much that I just purchased one for my husband.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Frank53 from Recently purchased Travel Pack Normally there's 2 of us when traveling and a standard suitcase is what we need..however, recently took a solo trip and wanted a smaller pack. After looking around, came back to Bean and researched this Travel Pack. Perfect size for the 4 days I was going to be gone. Able to fit LOTS of stuff, utilizing separate compartments as needed. Easy to carry..didn't need to use the back straps but they store away in their own section very nicely... If you're needing a pack for a a 4-5 day stay, check this one out...

Rated 5 out of 5 by CambridgeMom from Fits Well & Carries A Lot I was looking for a bag that would fit my short torso/back and carry enough clothes for a five-day holiday weekend. This bag met those criteria wonderfully! I was able to carry 20 pounds of clothes, journals, one pair of shoes, a hair dryer and toiletries. When the bag got too heavy to carry on my back, I used the sturdy suitcase handles. It's soft-sided yet rugged, so it's easy to squeeze it into car trunks or the upper luggage rack on an Amtrak train without worries. You could use a TSA-approved lock to keep the two main compartments secured. The two main clothing compartments have zipped sections that hold your stuff in place. The front face has a side zipper pocket that's a good place to stow away tickets and keys. There's also a nice soft pocket for tablets. The backpack straps can be tucked away and zipped up when not in use. All-around, a comfortable and well-made carry-on bag that looks like a suitcase and not a hiker's backpack.
